One star is being generous. My wife and I were thrilled initially, loving the furniture and the service from our sales consultant. Unfortunately that is where everything went downhill. Our consultant had said that our bedroom set would be in on September 19th and only the night stand would need to be picked up later. Fast forward to today and when the delivery service notifies us that he is coming, with only a dresser. This is after we spend the previous night taking the bedroom apart, moving furniture, and clearing out all of the space. No phone call, no notice, just a sheer lack of courtesy and professionalism. I call to work out the differences and while explaining the situation on the phone, the employee says, "I have another customer," clearly just avoiding the problem and not doing anything to resolve it as I have now been on hold for 30 minutes. Company clearly cannot get their communication right or intentionally misinforms the customers to get them to purchase the furniture. Will certainly never be returning to shop at Value City and will be advising everyone in the future to avoid doing business there at all costs.

Customer Service was excellent! I was able to get the bedroom set I’ve been wanting. The Thanksgiving Sale was the best ever! They were open until midnight!

We absolutely love the furniture that my mom purchased from this store at Value City. It was delivered by two very nice professional guys who put it all together quickly. Mike Elinoff is the salesman who helped us find exactly what we wanted. He not only patiently guided us throughout the store for our various requests but had such a great sense of humor! He did not rush us, answered all of our questions and was just simply nice. In fact, all of my furniture is from this store and I've had it for 17 years. My future purchases will definitely be from this store and I hope Mike will be my salesman again.

If I could give them a zero I would. Its been a month since my purchase and I'm still not satisfied. I purchased a bedroom set (bed, dresser with mirror and night stand) and was delivered a dresser with a drawer that did not open and close correctly and a mirror with a paint chip missing from it. They told me they had to send out someone to "fix it" and if they couldn't fix it they would do an "even exchange." After not being able to "fix it" I got the new dresser, with no accommodation for a requested delivery date/time considering this was their fault and I had to be inconvenienced. After speaking to several individuals in customer service I was guaranteed that the new/replacement dresser and mirror would be delivered together, clearly this did not happen so I had to set up a third delivery for a new mirror. The new mirror was delivered with black smudges all over it. The delivery driver handed my husband a "kit" of cleaning solutions to take care of the problem; clearly my husband was shocked. I'm currently on the phone with customer services requesting a refund for the mirror as I'm completely exhausted from dealing with these idiots and don't even feel like setting up another delivery for a new mirror. It is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to the store manager and I've been passed around to more "customer service" individuals than I can count. I guess this this a clear case of "you get what you pay for" and I will never purchase another item from Value City Furniture as long as they exist. I've worked in customer service in the past and these people need some serious training on how to assist customers with an issue correctly, THE FIRST TIME."

Sales Representative Mike Elinoff has excellent customer service.. he was the only sales rep that greeted us coming in the door and asked if we were looking for anything special. We told him no we were just looking around. He told us if we needed any assistance he would be walking around. I did purchase an item and Mike took care of everything in a very professional manner. Value City has an excellent representative
