The guy was very rude, very unwilling to help. I ended up taking that piece back. They gave me another torn up couch 3 weeks later. I waited 2.5 months for a used torn up couch.

This is the worst furniture store ever. First of all, they don't keep to their words. The don't even give their customers the option to chose delivery day and time and even when they schedule delivery they will cancel without letting you know. I took of work for them but they had rescheduled without telling me. With my next furniture, I opted to pick up base on my bad delivery experience. They called, scheduled a pick up day and when I called to confirm, I was told the truck hasn't arrived from the warehouse. How is that even possible? I'm so done with his store. Poor!!!poor!!!poor!!! services.

Our last experience with this location was aweful. We ordered a couch online and picked it up from the catonsville location after we had gone there twice to pick it up and it wasn't available. Then, half the couch was used. We ordered a sectional and the one half had holes in it, the legs were brown instead of black like the other piece of the couch. We didn't notice these issues until we got home and unwrapped the packaging that it was in.

I have never left a review for any store before , but people should be informed about how bad of a company overstock furniture is, along with their employees.

At the store their employees told me they honor other prices of couches from other stores and will match them. When i told Sammy other stores have that same couch 50-200 dollars cheaper, he offered nothing.

I spoke to the manager (Sammy). He said you cannot cancel, all sales are final. I said i understood that, but it hasn't even been 24 hours, nothing has shipped, nothing is official yet. He said , he cant, i asked why? He said the manufacturer started processing it, they will charge us for canceling. I said, can you call them and speak to them. He said he will try and call me back. He calls me back in 4 minutes exactly. He said the manufacturer said no.

the fact that Sammy told me i had no right to call the manufacturer was down right rude. He wanted to get away with a lie. He wants my money , he doesn't want to lose it, so he puts a 30% cancellation fee. I ordered two couches from them, its good business for them, and i wanted to cancel one for now, and keep one. He decided not to honor my request, where he could have, if he was a good person, and a good manager. He decided that money is more important than customers.

I have bought 3 or 4 items from this place before this experience. I realize now if and when something goes wrong, they will sell you a used couch and treat you like you did something wrong. Do not give them your business.

I purchased two couches at overstock furniture. I was at the store from 6Pm to about 8:40 PM. I visited it during the day and came back later. The store was empty, no other customers came in while i was there (to no surprise).

We did what any consumer would do we called back to the store. The guy Sam who works at this location is terrible. He told my wife that night, "this is a hastle,". He also told her there was nothing he could do because we picked up the couch instead of paying for delivery.

Next he started saying that he gave me the best possible price for this couch, that no one could go lower. I said that is another lie, and i can prove it (which i can). I decided to search for this specific couch online.. and i found the couch for 50-200 dollar cheaper based on stores. He then said they charge shipping, another lie, these sites all state free shipping. Not only that, over-stock themselves charge 129.99 for delivery (funny).

I advise people not to shop at over-stock furniture. They cannot be trusted, they will try to lie to you to get any dollar they can from you. At least i advise no one to go to the Catonsville location and have to deal with Sammy. If he would have told me up front its his own policy of the 30% cancelation fee, i would not have left this review, but the fact that he went through 3 big lies, thinking he could trick me, is rude, and just disgusting.

I wont even give 1star to this crapy store. First guy justin tells me he got sofa and love seat that i liked in stock. So after arguing back and forth about delivery i accepted to pick it on my own. Then while processing he tells me they dont have love seat in stock. Didnt wanna work anyways to help us out because ill have to re rent truck to just pick up love seats because of their stupidity. Very pathetic customer service never ever going back here. And will recomend all my friends and people not to go here.

Right there Sammy lied about two things. 1. The cancelation being on the manufactures side, that they charge over-stock a cancelation. Then he lied about calling them .

My family and I had second thoughts about one of the couches we purchased, and we called back 12 hours later to cancel one of the couches and keep the first one.

Now i signed a paper that said all sales are final, but it has a part about 14 days return. It hasn't even been 24 hours, it was 12 hours, a good manager and a good store would have honored its customers request to cancel. Everyone has second thoughts. If they want people to continue shopping at their store, they should consider helping their customers.

Terrible customer service. The manager is unbelievably rude to the point you'll want to punch him in the face. They have no problem wasting your time and money running you back and forth from the store. Totally unprofessional. I would have given them a negative stars if possible.

I went and called the manufacturer, asked them is this true, do you charge a cancellation fee, can you not cancel. I spoke to their manager. They said , they charge nothing, and it should be okay to cancel. They also told me they didnt speak to anyone named Sammy (casamode furniture only has 3 employees at their office).. they said they didnt get any calls from over-stock furniture, nor anything with my name.

Very good customer service, and prices are very reasonable.

He admitted to lying.

    This is the worst furniture store ever. First of all, they don't keep to their words.     I advise people not to shop at over-stock furniture. They cannot be trusted, they will try to lie to you to get any dollar they can from you.
